Open your activity, add a title and anything you'd like people to know, and tap Publish. Travellar uploads its photos and videos, then the Recommendation gets its own page and link, and it shows on your profile.
What happens if I close Travellar while it's publishing?
Publishing uploads your photos and videos first, so keep Travellar open until it's done. If you close the activity while it uploads, Travellar asks first: closing it then publishes nothing, and your draft keeps everything on your phone. Open the draft from the Create tab and tap Publish again.
If some photos or videos couldn't be uploaded, nothing is published: tap Retry.
Will my Recommendation show in search?
Not every Recommendation is featured. Once you publish, it has its own page and link and shows on your profile, so anyone you share it with can see it. Our team picks Recommendations to feature, and those are the ones that show in search, in the Community tab and on the pages for each destination. We'll let you know when one of yours is featured. Clear photos, a good title and a description of what makes the place worth it help.
How do I share a Recommendation?
Tap Share on its page to copy the link or send it from your phone's share menu. You can share lists and profiles the same way.
How can I embed a Recommendation on my website?
Open its page and tap the Menu at the top. Choose Embed recommendation, copy the code and paste it into your blog or website.
Can I make a published Recommendation private?
No. Until you publish, an activity stays on your phone. Once published, its link is public. You can close a Scheduled Activity to stop new people joining and remove it from search, but its link still works.
How do I delete a Recommendation or a Scheduled Activity?
Open it, tap the Menu at the top and choose Delete recommendation. For a Scheduled Activity, choose Cancel activity, and everyone who joined is told.
