Your photos and videos stay on your phone while you make a Reel, and the Reel you export is saved to your phone. They're only uploaded when you tap Publish to share the activity as a Recommendation. Read more in our privacy policy.
What happens when I publish a Recommendation?
Publishing uploads the activity's photos and videos and gives it a public page with its own link: the map, the stops, the photos and the description. It shows on your profile, and anyone with the link can see it. Until you publish, nothing about it is public. Our team also picks Recommendations to feature in search.
No. AI Trip Finder looks through your camera roll on your iPhone, from when and where each photo was taken, and picks the best photos there. To name each trip, it looks up the names of a few of its places on the map service we use.
Can AI Trip Finder leave out the photos I took at home?
Yes. Set your home in your Preferences and AI Trip Finder leaves out the photos taken near it. You can switch that off in AI Trip Finder's settings.
Why does Travellar ask for my location?
Only to show what's near you: when you search the Map, browse things to do nearby in Community, or pick a place on a map. Travellar works without it; you can search for any place instead.
I said no to location. How do I turn it back on?
iPhone app: Settings → Travellar → Location, then choose While Using the App.
In a browser: allow location in the site's settings, next to the address bar.
Without it, Travellar starts the map near where your internet connection is, and you can still search for any place.
How do I remove something I published?
Open it, tap the Menu at the top and choose Delete recommendation. Its page and its link stop working.
