Relive turns an activity you recorded into a 3D flyover. Travellar makes a Reel of any trip, even one you never tracked: from your photos, a Google Maps route or a GPX file, with the place names and photos at every stop.

Street level
A city walk or a day out covers a few kilometres. Travellar's map zooms in to that scale and shows your photos at every stop as the route reaches it.
The map zooms in to fit your route, flat or with 3D buildings, so a walk between a few streets reads as clearly as a drive between cities.
Labels name each stop as the route gets there, so your followers always know where you are.
Your photos and videos pop up as the route reaches each place, and every stop gets its name on the map.
Side by side
Both turn a route into a 3D map video. Relive makes one of each activity you record, on satellite terrain, with your stats. Travellar makes a Reel of any trip from your photos or a route, and lets you choose how every stop looks.

Pick Relive to record a hike, a run or a ride and get a 3D flyover of it with your distance, elevation and speed, made for you. Pick Travellar for a trip you didn't record, or one that spans several days or activities: it starts from your photos, a Google Maps route or a GPX file, works in the browser, and lets you choose the map style, the route and the photos at every stop. Both are free to start, and both have a paid plan.
Both follow the route closely, down to the trail. Travellar zooms the map to fit the trip, whether it covers a few streets or a few countries, and names each stop as the route reaches it. Relive flies over your recorded track on satellite terrain, with an elevation profile, and makes one video per activity: it can't join several days or activities into one.
Relive needs a recorded track: record the activity in its app, sync it from a watch or a tracker, or import a GPX, TCX or FIT file. It doesn't import Google Maps routes. Travellar starts from whatever you have after the trip: the photos and videos in your camera roll, a Google Maps route, a GPX or KML file, or places you pick on the map.
On the iPhone app, AI Trip Finder spots the trips in your camera roll from when and where you took your photos, picks the best photos of each and proposes a Reel for every trip, recorded or not. Relive looks through your photos too, but only for the ones taken during an activity you recorded.
Relive places the photos and clips taken during the activity along the route, groups the ones taken close together and names places for you. Its clips play without their own sound. Travellar shows several photos and videos at each stop under the place's name, plays each video with its own sound, and lets you rename, reorder and add stops.
Travellar runs in the browser, on any computer or phone, and in the iOS app. Relive is an app for iPhone and Android. On its website you can watch, share and embed your videos, but not make them.
Both are free to start. Relive Plus adds up to 100 photos and clips, HD, speed control, colour themes, editing after the video is made and longer activities, and removes the closing credits but not the logo. Travellar Premium removes the watermark and the end animation, unlocks every map style, smoother motion, higher resolutions on desktop and AI Trip Finder on iPhone, and starts with a free trial.
Both turn the trip into a page you can share by link or embed on a website. Travellar's is also a recommendation: every stop with its photos and details, for travellers to find and save to their lists.
A walk, a day out or a short road trip, where the streets and the stops are the story. Start from your photos, or let AI Trip Finder spot the trips in your camera roll on the iPhone app and propose a Reel for each. Show several photos at each stop under the place's name, add music, and share the trip as a recommendation too.
A hike, a run, a ride or a ski day you record as you go, shown as a 3D flyover with your distance, elevation and speed, made for you as soon as you stop. Travellar doesn't record activities or show your stats.
A trip with a big hike or ride in it. Record the hike in Relive for the flyover and your stats, and make a Travellar Reel of the whole trip, every stop and photo, from your camera roll.
Travellar publishes this page, so it reflects our view. What we say about Relive comes from its website, public comparisons and using the app, checked in October 2026. Apps change, so try the same trip in both before you choose.
