Pick your trip's photos and Travellar flies the camera along your route over 3D terrain, stopping at every place with its photos and name. You don't need to have tracked the trip: the route comes from your photos, a Google Maps route or a GPX file.
How it works
Start from the photos you already took. Travellar builds the route and flies it.
You can import Photos π· and Videos π₯, routes from Google Maps πΊοΈ and more, or simply pick Places π on the map. Or use AI Trip Finder π (iPhone only)
Pick a Camera π₯ movement: Bird, Chase or Static. Tilt it with the Pitch π and turn it with the Bearing π§.
Pick a Map style πΊοΈ, colours and Music π΅, then download the Reel π¬ as a video.
Camera
Pick a camera movement, then set the angle: Pitch tilts the view from straight down to almost the horizon, and Bearing turns the map to face any direction. At each place the camera stops and shows its photos and name. The intro can open on the whole planet and zoom down to your first stop, and the outro flies back out to it.
The camera flies above the route as it draws, always facing the same way. Set that direction with Bearing, and how far the view tilts with Pitch.
The camera follows just behind the route and turns at every bend, like riding along. It picks its own heading, so you only set the Pitch.
The camera holds the whole trip in one frame while the route draws across it. Use it when the shape of the trip is the point.
FAQ
A video where the camera flies along a route over a 3D map, like the view from a plane or a drone. Travellar's flyover stops at every place on the way and shows the photos and videos you took there.
Pick your trip's photos and videos in Travellar, in any browser or the iPhone app. It places each one where it was taken and draws the route between them. Choose a camera movement, tilt it with Pitch, pick a map style, then download the video as an MP4.
No. The route comes from where your photos were taken, so a trip you never tracked works too. If you did record it, import the GPX or KML file, or paste a Google Maps route link.
Yes. Pick a camera movement: Bird flies above the route always facing the same way, Chase follows the route and turns at every bend, and Static holds the whole trip in one frame while the route draws. Bird and Chase also take your Pitch, and Bird your Bearing.
Yes, with Pitch and Bearing. Pitch tilts the camera from looking straight down, a flat map, to almost the horizon: the more you tilt, the more hills and mountains stand out. Bearing turns the map so the route runs the way you want, north up or any other direction. In Chase the camera sets the bearing itself as it turns.
Yes. In the camera's Intro & outro options, slide the Zoom all the way to Planet: the Reel opens on the globe and zooms down to your first stop, then the outro flies back out to it at the end. Pitch and Bearing tilt and turn that opening view too. It works with Bird and Chase; Static keeps the whole trip in one frame.
Yes. Every map style has 3D terrain, so hills and mountains show in relief, and it's free. Premium adds 3D buildings (not on the satellite maps), dawn, dusk and night, and fog.
Yes. Satellite and Satellite Roads are map styles in Premium, with the terrain in 3D. The other styles go from Vintage to 8-bit, and Standard is free.
Yes. The map zooms in to fit your route, so a walk between a few streets shows as clearly as a drive between cities.
Yes. Videos play at their stop alongside your photos, with their own sound or muted.
Yes. You can create and download Reels for free, with a Travellar watermark. Premium removes the watermark and the end animation, unlocks every map style, smoother motion and higher resolutions on desktop, and starts with a free trial.
Pick its photos and watch the camera fly the route.
